Twitter UX Engineering: Security

Twitter Security

UX Engineering, Full-stack Development

In the summer of 2016, I moved to San Francisco and joined the Twitter HQ office as a #TwitterAcademy intern. As a freshman, I was given the exciting opportunity to work on an actual new security feature that is now deployed on My role was to develop the front-end and user experience of the user when they are setting up 2-factor authentication using time-based-one-time passcode. Over the span of the summer, I gained invaluable insight into how the tech industry worked, what a software engineer's role is within the company, and some cool front-end skills like Javascript!
